Ebay & Facebook Marketplace. These are some of the selling strategies I use for Ebay and Facebook Marketplace.

The determination of the highest value you will get for your property will likely be based on:
- How competitive you have it priced
- How long you have it for sale and
- How many sales venues like: Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist and Ebay you have it listed.
Ebay
It could take up to 12 months to sell these pieces because of the lack of buyers for such specialty pieces. I recommend that you start offering the furniture for sale at the highest market value for up to 6 months. If there is no or little interest, then continue your sales campaign, however start lowering the price. Selling unique pieces such as this requires good sales exposure and lots of time. If you want to sell it fast, offer these pieces for sale at the lowest value I listed right away.
I suggest using 3 platforms: Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist & Ebay. When using ebay, list it as a buy-it-now (and best offer if you choose), use the “local pick up only” option. It also helps if you put “local pick up only” at the end of the listing title -OR- on the first line of the ebay description. Ebay has a 13% final value fee (when it sells) if your buyer buys it on ebay, however the buyer will likely want to inspect the item in person first and will pay you on the spot. If that happens, just cancel the listing.
DON'T TAKE A CHECK FOR ANY REASON AS PAYMENT. Most selling scams are based on the buyer paying by check. Call or text me ANYTIME if you have issues or suspect you could be involved with a scam. Ignore out of state scammers that want to send you a guaranteed check of any type and have a shipping company pick up the item.
* When selling items 8 & 9, it might take up to 2 years to sell, I suggest using 3 platforms: Facebook
Marketplace, Craigslist & Ebay. When using ebay, list it as a buy-it-now (and best offer if you choose),
local pick up only, it also helps if you put “local pick up only” at the end of the title -OR- on the first
line of the ebay description. After 12 months consider going lower.
The ebay values were if you sold the property as a buy-it-now (not auction) at a competitive price compared to others being offered.
