Don't pay to get
your
rarity authenticated by an unknown
company that your buyers never heard of.
|
|
Get your rarity authenticated
by the best authenticating authority, in the
very market you plan on selling at. If you
get your rarity authenticated
by a local unknown company you
will likely NOT get the highest achievable selling price.
You do the research, whichever
authenticating company attains the highest
sold prices for the same item, is probably
the most trusted by your potential buyers.
You will likely be required to ship it
off insured or registered mail etc.

Appraisers cannot authenticate everything.
|
I do not know any appraiser that is
qualified to authenticate all rarities. However
some professional appraisers like myself, have
the expertise to authenticate in some
categories. I can authenticate most: gem stones,
precious metals, numismatics (coins) and a wide
variety of art, antiquities and collectables. I
recommend 3rd party authenticating and/or grading
on high value rarities before selling. Below is
my short-list of authenticating authorities I
